Terms of Service of Salk

Welcome to Salk ("we," "our," "us," or "the App"). By downloading, accessing, or using Salk, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully, as they create a legally binding agreement between you and Salk. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the App.

1. Eligibility

• Salk is available only to individuals 18 years of age or older.
• By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into binding legal agreements.
• Accounts created by individuals under 18 will be terminated, and any associated data will be deleted.

2. Account Registration and Security

• To use certain features, you must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
• If you suspect unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately at service@salk.today.
• Salk is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized account access due to your failure to safeguard credentials.

3. User-Generated Content (UGC)

• You retain ownership of the content you create and share on Salk. By posting, you grant Salk a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and promote your content within the App and related media.
• You are solely responsible for your UGC and must ensure it does not:
  - Violate any law or regulation.
  - Contain hate speech, harassment, or bullying.
  - Depict nudity, sexual exploitation, or obscene material.
  - Encourage self-harm, violence, or illegal activity.
  - Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
• We reserve the right to review, moderate, or remove any UGC at our discretion. Users who repeatedly violate these rules may be suspended or permanently banned.

4. Community Guidelines

• Respectful and constructive interaction is required.
• Misuse of features, including spamming, impersonation, or harassment, is strictly prohibited.
• Any behavior that undermines the integrity of Salk's community may result in disciplinary action, including account suspension or termination.

5. Virtual Goods and Payments

• Salk may offer in-app purchases, including virtual goods, premium features, or subscriptions.
• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
• Virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or outside of the App.
• You agree not to resell, trade, or transfer virtual goods outside of Salk.

6. Termination of Account

• We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you:
  - Breach these Terms.
  - Engage in harmful, abusive, or fraudulent behavior.
  - Use the App for unlawful purposes.
• Upon termination, your right to access the App ceases immediately. Some obligations, such as ownership rights, licenses granted, and legal limitations, shall survive termination.

7. Intellectual Property

• All rights, titles, and interests in Salk, including trademarks, logos, designs, and software, are owned by Salk or its licensors.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from Salk without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimers

• Salk provides the App on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service.
• We are not responsible for user content, interactions, or third-party links accessible through the App.
• You use Salk at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, Salk shall not be liable for:
  - Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  - Loss of data, profits, goodwill, or reputation.
  - Any damages resulting from unauthorized access, hacking, or misuse of your account.
• In jurisdictions where limitations are restricted, our liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to Salk in the last 6 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Salk and its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good faith negotiations.
• If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration under the laws of [Insert Governing Jurisdiction], unless prohibited by law.
• You waive the right to participate in class actions or collective proceedings against Salk.

12. Changes to These Terms

• We may update these Terms periodically.
• Significant changes will be communicated within the App or via email before they take effect.
